Neural therapy was discovered by the German Hunecke brothers a hundred years ago. I inject 1% lidocaine to the body’s so called neural therapeutic points which through the vegetative nervous system and connective tissues have a positive effect in treating chronic inflammation, pain and functional disorders. Neural therapeutic points often match acupuncture points in position, but are very different indeed.
Many times we inject to deeper tissue layers around the spot of a given disorder, or the gum, tonsil or its cicatrice, other surgical cicatrices, area of the thyroid gland, along the spine, certain neural centers, or in case of chronic gynecological anomalies the lesser pervis. Neural therapy should be repeated 3-10 times, as one treatment is generally not enough, but even after the first treatment some improvement can be experienced.
